We seek a highly motivated person who wants to succeed with horses.

Tielcey Park is a nationally renowned professional equestrian centre organising three shows a month, riding lessons, school holiday programmes, schooling of horses, grazers, and a sport horse stud.

This opportunity provides board and accommodation on site, opportunity to bring your own horse or ride one of ours, lessons weekly and pocket money.

In return we expect you to learn from the ground up - work six days a week - and be a positive practical person who is open to learning our professional practices.

We have contacts throughout the professional equestrian community in NZ and the USA and can provide referrals after you have worked with us for six months or more.

 Part-Time Volunteers

Maybe you're a young person keen to work with horses or simply want more experience handling and managing horses, or would like office or cafe experience? We allow volunteers to work under our professional managers at hours which suit your lifestyle.
