UpdatesOur fundraising effort for Damian's new bike is becoming well known throughout the equestrian community. Thankyou to all our supporters. As raffle tickets are sold and donations received, we put the money into Damian's Bank of New Zealand bank accounts. Pedal Pushers Comes Through AgainWe went back to Pedal Pushers in Palmerston North for Damian to buy bike shoes (as he cannot feel his feet, he needs to clip his feet into the pedals) and Roy and Vanessa helped us out - they were both awesome. We also bought a bike shirt (with Pedal Pushers proudly displayed!), bike shorts, a heart rate monitor and bike computer and lights - total value just over $1000 - and they sold them to Damian for just under $900 - wonderful people! Damian also got the contact details so he can join the local mountain bike club - so watch out cyclists, he's on the road! |
