UpdatesOur fundraising effort for Damian's new bike is becoming well known throughout the equestrian community. Thankyou to all our supporters. As raffle tickets are sold and donations received, we put the money into Damian's Bank of New Zealand bank accounts. As at 8th May 2008 - we have raised $8,412 for Damian To read more please click on the news headlines below. Damian Orders New BikeThis morning Damian phoned Bike Friday and placed his order. I gave the lovely Bruno my credit card number (as Damian has no credit card) and shared with him how the equestrian community (and others!) in New Zealand had rallied together to fundraise for the bike - he was blown away! Not only did he discount the price for Damian, but he also bought raffle tickets! He isn't even horsie, what a guy! Damian is very excited about getting his new bike - and also a bit anxious about paying the credit card bill by the 17th of March... but I'm confident that together (you and I) we can sell enough raffle tickets and help this young guy's dream come true... |
