It is with regret that Tielcey Park has announced it is cancelling the summer series of shows.  This is due to the high number of other shows on throughout the district, meaning we are competing for entries with many other shows which are on the same weekend.  Thankyou to competitors who have supported us over our summer shows - but we are unable to continue to put them on.

 Rest assured our Winter Series will go ahead in 2011.

The weather certainly turned it on for the first of our Summer Series... we enjoyed watching some new competitors and combinations moving up to the next level.  Thanks to judges and writers for making our show possible.

4th & 5th September

We saw two wonderful days of dressage with some personal best scores reached.  The Champions were well deserved - our series is the longest in New Zealand with 8 days of competition over the winter.  A very wet winter it was too, and riders are to be congratulated for their peristence over the winter series.

We are very thankful for our sponsors - without whom we would have no registered dressage at Tielcey Park.

August 1st

A chilly winter day greeted riders who were grateful the rain held off until after lunch.  We saw some good efforts and riders trying out new levels - and were happy to see three horses contest the Inter II.  The series points are still neck and neck in many grades - everything rests on the final two days (4&5 September) - remember, double points are awarded at this show, everything could change!

July 4th

Riders were pleasantly surprised at the weather, another beautiful day at Tielcey Park.  We were pleased that Tielcey Park JK Latano was placed in both of his Level One tests - his first registered tests in his career - and more importantly that he behaved impeccably.

The points races are heating up... with a new leader in the Child Rider Series - Lauren Dolan takes the lead from Marjorie Bentley-Brett. And our Junior Rider series leader, Rhiannon Scott, sits level with Kallista Field to lead the Level 3 series.  The proud new owner of Sofia FE (by Salutation, Charlotte Grant, also now leads the Salutation Level 2 Series

We were fortunate enough to see two of the Awakino Stallions performing this weekend with Jaime Melagrejo riding - what an elegant rider - certainly one to watch.  These world-class stallions will be standing to public stud in 2010 - what an exciting time for us breeders, so many quality stallions to choose from!

Once again, the series champions were decided on the last day... some going down to the wire... but those Field girls are hard to beat!  With Field Equestrian trained and bred horses taking out four of the championships and also a reserve!

We will be running this series again next year, and hope to have more dates for dressage in the summer.  In the meantime, why not bring your horses to our unregistered series... it could be an opportunity to try the next level up without your scores being recorded by NZEF!
