PERFECT PONY FOUND!
Sasha had been enthaustically riding a neighbours pony for 6 months, loving farm trekking and basic dressage (inspired by watching Aunty Karen). Even the arrival of a kids motorbike had not detered her love of ponies, so the time had come to find her own. We put the word out and trawled the internet in our search for a bombproof steed, with not much luck so we enlisted the help of Aunty Karen.
Between her and Margo Aasen (Tielcey Park) they placed some ad's on the internet for us, and within two weeks had found us Jack. Jack is a 13year old 12hh black welsh pony (Verona Lodge), who had been semi-retired as he had been swapped for motorbikes, much to Sasha's horror (who couldn't believe someone would prefer motorbikes to ponies!!).
Jack's mum Vanessa has very kindly let us lease this special little man, for as long as we need to, and he is settling well into his new home (even with a strict diet to lose a few pounds!). He is such a gem, that one in a million pony that is so safe for kids to be around. Sasha is riding him everyday to get him fit, and is taking him on some farm treks with pony club next week on the neighbouring farm. Sasha and Emma (BFF and neighbour) are looking forward to lots of fun together on their ponys this year.
We cannot thank Aunty Karen, Margo and Vanessa enough for making a 8yr old girl's dream come true.

WANTED: Ponies to Lease - suitable for riding school
Tielcey Park has had so many enquiries about riding lessons from children who don't have their own ponies, that we are going to start up a small riding school again.
We are looking for safe ponies from 12.2hh to 14hh to lease - preferably with their own gear. We offer an experienced home with compassionate care. All ponies are checked daily and used for up to two lessons a day. We also offer our pupils the opportunity to compete in our shows on weekends. Ponies will always be supervised.
Aged ponies OK - we will provide a written lease contract and will give you regular updates on your pony's health and wellbeing.

EX-RACEHORSE NEEDS NEW CAREER
4yr old, Bay Mare, about 16.2hh
Chinks - Sire: Chinese Gold,Dam: Tinks
Last raced in December 2008, only had two races and was retired due to being to slow, has been turned out since then, bought her to school up and sell on but don't have the time any more. She needs a person who has been around horses for awhile as she can be a bit pushy on the ground sometimes, but is getting better all the time. She is slowly coming into work and seems to be enjoying it as she improves all the time. She's a real sweetie in the paddock, loves cuddles. Easy to catch, good to do her feet. Was running on hills for two weeks. Has had the saddle on a few times and someone walking around on her and she was well behaved, although her brakes do need fine tuning, they are there but just takes a little bit for her to respond. If you want to see any more pictures or want any specific pictures please feel free to e-mail me. Hoping to get her teeth done in the next week or two and will be having someone come and ride her in more than a walk and hopefully out of the round ring. She would suit an eventing or show jumping home as she is not straight in her front legs.

BEAUTIFUL PROJECT PONY
Glenbrae Charleston (Charlie), 5-yr-old 146cm (measured) Tb X Clyde mare
Bred "blood over bone", using a Tb stallion over a Clydesdale mare. The stallion was Kyoei Blossom, a full brother to Westminster. The Clyde mare was Glenbrae Babe - dam of GP dressage horse Glenbrae Ivanhoe.
Broken in at 4yrs, using Andrew McLean methods, turned out for the winter, brought back in and has been hacked out for tthree months.
Charlie is green and unschooled, but hacks out in company or on her own, at a walk, trot and canter. She has been hacked on river trails and on the road. She is happy to go through water and unafraid of traffic.
Charlie is barefoot trimmed. She is easy to catch, float, trim hooves. She is not great to drench!
She has had her teeth done and her back checked by cranio sacral osteopath Anne Kershaw.
As yet unschooled, has never worked on a circle or been asked to work in an "outline".
Free-moving and willing little mare with a huge walk and rhythmic trot and canter, fit, strong and ready for further education.

16.2hh approx TB Gelding
11 years old - born in 1998. By Nicolotte and out of Sensu.
Sensuous (Sense) is a real laid back dude, I loves him!! Unfortunately for me, injury means I cannot ride at the moment, and he is wasted sitting in my paddock. I got him off the track 3 years ago, and he has been a lovely man to deal with.
Suited for a show/dressage/adult riding club home. He has been out to pleasure shows - with placings, and been to dressage days as well, also with placings. Hasn't had a lot of outings, due to rider not very interested in getting out much! Has been to beach and river rides - goes well with his paddock mate :) Been road hacked etc as well - in company only.
Can jump - but not a bold jumper. Gets used to jumps at home - but wasn't that confident in himself jumping out at shows. Could improve with practise/work, he just isn't a bold jumper. I'm not a jumper, so has very minimal experience jumping!
Fine to paddock on his own, but loves company. Good for vet, farrier, dentist etc. Just recently had a chiro appointment, so he is ready to go out and do something!
Has 3 good paces, and works nicely. Can be lazy, just needs someone to make him work :) Currently been ridden by 16 year old girl. He is only in work 3 - 4 days a week, lunged and ridden
