We have had many requests to run our holiday programmes again - and we now have enough qualified staff to do the programmes justice. BUT places are very limited (max 15 per course) so book early.

• Adult Riding Camp - 3 days - $199 for three day course - or $70/day - we will schedule a camp so long as we have 4 people - enquire by emailing Damon

Our popular school holiday programmes are back! Children can either to bring their own pony, share a pony with a friend, or use one of our safe riding school ponies. Each child will have two riding lessons each day (small groups) and learn the following skills: Grooming, stable management, paddock management, first aid, feeding your pony, turning out a pony for a show, maintaining and cleaning your tack, saddle fitting, and natural horsemanship. We also have a forest trek but this is dependent on the weather.

Each programme culminates in a gymkhana (horse show) on the Thursday afternoon where children enter horsemanship classes, show classes, jumping and games. Parents are encouraged to attend these to support their children. Each child will win many ribbons which are theirs to keep. Photos will be available on our website which you are welcome to download and print.

Our tutors are experienced with both horses and children. We have a maximum of five students per tutor so your children will be well supervised. Children need to bring their own lunches, morning and afternoon teas, and a drink.

Non riding-school ponies will stay at Tielcey Park in paddocks or stables, depending on their requirements. All their feed and hay needs to be brought with them, along with their tack and any other special items.

We split the age groups over two weeks - 12 and under in the first week and 13 and over in the second week. Children aged 13 and older may camp at Tielcey Park for $10/night as long as they are accompanied by a guardian and provide their own meals) for the complete "pony camp" experience.

Three very happy girls aged 7 to 15 enjoyed their three days together, with their ponies.  All showed great improvement over the programme and their confidence was boosted immensely.
