This show had HUGE entries with every one of our tie-up parks used! Remember to enter early if you want a tie-up park. Even though it poured down during the day, we saw some great performances and new personal bests.
27th March 2011
Thank you to everyone who has supported our summer ribbon day dressage series. Competitors got caught in a bit of a downpour in the afternoon, but carried on and rode some great tests.

6th February 2011
Well the weather certainly held for our dressage riders who rode some lovely tests. It was lovely seeing some of our early combinations improving in confidence and competence and riders obviously enjoying the journey with their horses.

The last dressage show for the Summer Series is March 27th... see you there!
19th December 2010
It was a grey and rainy day welcoming competitors to the last show at Tielcey Park for 2010. At least it was warm, and we saw a good number of riders competing at the higher levels. Congratulations to everyone who achieved their goals this year and Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. The next ribbon day dressage show is Sunday 6th February 2010 (Waitangi Day) - we look forward to seeing you there.
28th November Ribbon Day Dressage
Summer finally arrived at Tielcey Park - instead of the rain we normally have at dressage days, it was a heat wave that greeted competitors.
The beautiful Hannoverian stallion, Donnerubin, competed Hors Concours and boy is he stunning! We can't wait to see him out again.
Congratulations to our working pupil, Alex McKee, who picked up two fourths and a fifth in Level 1, and Tielcey Park Conversana who was second in both of her Level 2 tests. Connie won 3rd in the North Island SJ & SH championships in the NRM Adult Equitation class at Foxton yesterday. So she's had a busy weekend, and deserves Monday off!

Sunday 12th September
Sunday 8th August
The weather bomb forecast didn't hit - which made for some very happy competitors. We even had sunshine and smiles abounded as riders and their mounts performed most admirably. There are now some new riders at the top of the leaderboards - but all could change at our last show - where we have Double Points! We look forward to seeing you there.

Sunday July 11th
It may have been a chilly day but competitors enjoyed the lack of wind and rain - so no complaints there.
Another day of firsts with many riders taking home their first ribbons, or competing in their first dressage tests - in some cases even both! We all enjoyed the happy and relaxed atmosphere and are looking forward to the next show.

Sunday 13th June 2010
The weather was a tad chilly for our keen competitors on Sunday - winners were very excited to receive the latest copy of "Ponies" magazine, sponsored by the editors. You can subscibe to this great magazinefor only $29.50 a year (4 issues) by clicking here
We were excited to see two stallions competing, our own Tielcey Park JK Latano and the Fresian stallion Jolmar Fan Twillens - both were impeccably behaved and did well in their respective grades.
Full results here:
The series points are hotly contested, and we were excited to see Punga Oscar doing well for both his lead-rein riders (Bella and Abby Ives) and also in the Training level with Mayan Kelly - what a super pony.
Despite the grey day, Damian Day managed to get some fabulous photos. He is saving up to renew his website now - so if you see a photo you like, please buy it.
2009/10 Summer Ribbbon Day
Dressage Series
7th March 2010
What a beautiful day for our finals - not too hot, no rain! Congratulations to everyone, especially Alyssa Harrison who won three championships.
A very blustery day for competitors - who coped well despite arenas falling and doors banging - some very good performances were seen andmost people gained series points.
The finals of this show are Sunday 7th March - we look forward to handing out series sashes
10 January 2010
Our first show of the new decade produced a windy morning but a hot afternoon. The riders must have been practising over the Christmas break as we saw some markedly improved performances. Congratulations to everyone, especially those bringing horses and ponies out for the first time.
Despite torrential rain the night before, the day turned out quite rideable! We were pleased to see some new combinations, and combinations trying a new level - well done to all of you. A very pleasant day and some good results. Merry Christmas and we will see you in January!
