Tielcey Park was bought by Clarity Group in April 2006 to ensure it remains an equestrian venue and can be enjoyed by the wider equestrian community. We are working hard to ensure we run professional shows, host professional clinicians, and provide excellent food in our cafe and service and products in our saddlery.

Perfect Pony Found!

Sasha had been enthaustically riding a neighbours pony for 6 months, loving farm trekking and basic dressage (inspired by watching Aunty Karen). Even the arrival of a kids motorbike had not detered her love of ponies, so the time had come to find her own. We put the word out and trawled the internet in our search for a bombproof steed, with not much luck so we enlisted the help of Aunty Karen.

Between her and Margo Aasen (Tielcey Park) they placed some ad's on the internet for us, and within two weeks had found us Jack. Jack is a 13year old 12hh black welsh pony (Verona Lodge), who had been semi-retired as he had been swapped for motorbikes, much to Sasha's horror (who couldn't believe someone would prefer motorbikes to ponies!!).

Jack's mum Vanessa has very kindly let us lease this special little man, for as long as we need to, and he is settling well into his new home (even with a strict diet to lose a few pounds!). He is such a gem, that one in a million pony that is so safe for kids to be around.

Sasha is riding him everyday to get him fit, and is taking him on some farm treks with pony club next week on the neighbouring farm. Sasha and Emma (BFF and neighbour) are looking forward to lots of fun together on their ponys this year.

We cannot thank Aunty Karen, Margo and Vanessa enough for making a 8yr old girls dream come true.

Just a quick thank you for allowing Saddle Up to have our dressage day at Tielcey Park.

All our riders really enjoyed themselves and riding indoors was an adventure & a treat!

Just a brief note to wish you both a relaxing and enjoyable Xmas break and to thank you both for your encouragement over the last few years. As a newbee to riding in 2005 I have so enjoyed my time coming to Tielceyand making tiny steps in the equestrian scene and meeting new horsey friends. I so enjoy it that it has now become somewhat compulsive :) I adore our Latano foal- Lighieri-he is a real treasure and he will have a wonderful life with us - we will never sell him on-that means I need to getmyself better as I know he will be a star:) Its an exciting aim! Enjoy the break- relax and enjoy your equine friends . Jenny C

I was a very nervous beginner and as I was first up in the intro test A I had a course error, even though I knew it inside out !. Thank you for your regular email updates on the activities and events hosted by Tielcey Park. I am responding in regards to the 'practice days with feedback from dressage judges'. What a fantastic idea! As I am unable to ride for the following 12 months, a local rider has taken the opportunity to compete my dressage horse for the winter. We will certainly be attending upcoming events held at Tielcey Park during the winter season, and I would like to thank you in advance for offering the facilities of Tielcey Park for such an opportunity. "When the time came to sell our pony, I approached Margo Aasen from Tielcey Park to sell her on our behalf; I was introduced to Margo through a mutual friend. I sent the pony away on the inter Islander to Tielcey park and she arrived safe and sound. Margo kept me up to date on her progress with regular emails and phone calls. The pony was worked on a regular basis and taken to shows by one of her riders to get exposure, her service was professional at all times, and the sale of the pony was easy and smooth. I would recommend Margo to anyone in the future as all the hassle is taken away from selling your horse or pony by using Tielcey Park." Karen Olsen.

"I would just like to say that my daughter and I were very impressed with your services in selling our pony. We had tried endlessly for months, to try and find her a new home, but without success, until you helped us out, and found her just the right home, within less than a fortnight, and for the full asking price as well! We would just like to say again, thankyou, as it has meant a great deal to us, to know she got not only the best of homes on a farm, but also that she went to a family who will appreciate and love her as much as we did! Trying to sell a pony can sometimes be very stressful, as well as emotional, when the animal is a very much loved part of your family, that you don't really want to part with, but have no choice sometimes, due to changed circumstances. The longer this process is drawn out, the harder and more stressful sometimes, the whole situation can become. Margo took all this away from us, by collecting our pony instantly, taking great care of her, and making sure that she got the best homes possible, in the quickest time, and for this we will always be eternally grateful. I have no hesitations at recommending Margo to anyone who has a pony or horse out there needing the best of homes, as I am sure with her professionalism and knowledge, she will always do her best, with outstanding results! It has been a very well-run series and been very worthwhile for me to practice 'just doing more tests' to help get on top of my nervousness in the arena - still not completely there, but its much better than it was! Being able to practice the musical for the registered competition was also very helpful. The musical test I did yesterday, apart from the minor gitches went well. Rosie got 68.12%.
