Colin will accept new clients, provided they bring their horses to Tielcey Park - he shoes at Tielcey Park on Mondays, bookings essential

Beliefs regarding equine hoof care

The current trend towards “barefoot trimming” is not a bad one, however experience and common sense are required to assess whether this or that particular horse can cope with the work expected of it without some form of hoof protection.

 

Charges

New shoes $168.75 -- Refit $135.00 --- Trims $50.00 -- Stud holes $3.00 each

Caulk and Wedge (heels) Add $25.00 a pair –-  Bar shoes Add $56.25 each

Heart bars and any specialised work will be charged out at a rate of $80.00 an hour plus cost of materials and shoes.
